Developed by independent game developers NimbleBit, App Classics searches the App Store to cacluate the all-time most popular high quality apps available on iTunes for iPhone and iPod Touch. Behind the scenes, iTunes rating information is crunched, sifted, and percolated in a secret formula to find and grade the truly classic apps.
From the front page users can see the top app classics across all categories, or search deeper into individual categories through the drop down menu. While every app featured on the site has proven they stand above their fellow App Store citizens, each classic app is awarded a gold, silver, or bronze medal depending on how established of a classic they are calculated to be.
